FAQs

What is an RSA?

In Maryland, a Residential Service Agency (RSA) is a business that provides home health care services to sick or disabled individuals. Maryland has three levels of skilled nursing with aides:

  • Level 1: Registered nurse (RN) supervision of aides to provide personal care without medication management
  • Level 2: RN supervision of aides to provide personal care with medication management
  • Level 3: Complex care provided by RNs, licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and supervision of aides

Golden Days Homecare LLC is licensed in Levels 1, 2, and 3.

What is the difference between home care and in-home skilled nursing care?

The difference is that home care refers to only non-medical services, such as housekeeping, running errands, and meal preparation. Read more on our Home Care and In-Home Skilled Nursing pages.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept private pay, Medicaid (or the allowable difference between private duty and RSA or RSA and home health, etc.), and long-term care insurance. Please ask us about discounts, referral incentives, and personalized payment plans.

How quickly can you provide services?
